Hooters Chili

Hooters Restaurant Recipe

1 pound ground beef
1/2 onion,  chopped
1 pack chili seasoning mix
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 can black beans, drained
1 teaspoon mesquite smoke marinade
1/2 cup Hooters Breading Mix ( can substitute flour)
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup beef broth
1 can chopped green chilies
1/4 cup honey
1 can kidney beans, drained
2 tablespoons Hooters Wing Sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced

Take a pot and begin heating the wing sauce over medium heat. When it is hot enough, throw in the onions and saute for 5 minutes. Then add in the green peppers and garlic and saute for another 2 to 3 minutes. Later, add in the ground beef and cook for 10 minutes until it turns brown then add in the chili seasoning,, both beans, pepper, broth, green chilies, honey, mesquite smoke marinade and breading mix.

Stir the contents well then bring it to a boil. Once it starts to boil, bring the heat down, close the lid and let the mixture simmer until desired thickness. When ready, scoop and serve hot.
